When I first got into Oblivion modding I had a very terrible PC with a small hard drive for storage so I deleted every mod I downloaded right after installing it. Eventually, of course, my Oblivion install broke and I had to re-download all of the mods I wanted and when dealing with FCOM that took a
long time. I did this a few times before building a new PC with more storage.
After my new PC was finished I became a serious archiver, I felt like it would be beneficial for myself and potentially others. So for years I've been collecting
stuff and organizing it and have done myself proud amassing terabytes of mods and assets for mods. I've shared lots of sought after mods from my collection in the past but never anything large because my upload speed is bad, that is changing tomorrow though so I wanted to know if anyone was interested in my backed up SHY Uploader.
SHY Uploader was a Japanese uploading site very similar in format to
this one but the content was very different, most of the images were of the either of the bad or hilarious NSFW variety but occasionally I would find some seriously great screenshots that were hilariously choreographed. It was announced the site was shutting down for whatever reason a few years ago and because I really enjoyed looking at the steady stream of new images and downloading the occasional mod from the website I decided to spend many hours downloading all of the available uploaded files. I ran into a few viruses but it was worth it! It had over 25,000(9gb) screenshots and a gigabyte of small, mostly useless, mods. Some of the mods were good though.
Another thing that drove me to backing up the site was a similar 'LODA' Uploader. That entire website was shut down and a LOT of interesting cultures were deleted in the process, I felt pretty crappy that I didn't save all of the screenshots from the TES/Fallout themed ones because they were so fun to look at.
So yeah, I wrote this for those who visit my blog to ask if you wanted any of the files from SHY. I could upload other Oblivion mods en masse too but for both of these offers I don't have much of an idea of where to upload them to. I think Google has storage but it may be too small for this. In any case, please vote in the below poll or post in the comments if you're interested, currently it seems like hardly anybody cares!
