Fallout Fallout 4 to-do list

Fallout 4 to-do list

We have made a lot of mods since 2009 and I will carry on our legacy. Since many of them were ported from Oblivion to Fallout to Skyrim, I thought with Fallout 4 coming out soon I'd compile a list of some plans I have for it. Here are some of the Skyrim mods we've made, by the way.

  • Use thread OC for in-game books
  • A hunger mod built on the idea that you have to hunt your food and you only look for it when you're hungry, I think that would work better than traditional annoying mods. Like RDR hunting quests or something.
  • Re-balance the shit gameplay
    • Less ammo, less HP , more enemies and random warring factions, and less NPC accuracy.
  • Flora mod. I'll sprinkle plants all over the place.
  • Weather tweaks. For example different colored fog and more rain.
  • Particle and fire re-textures.
  • Bandages.
  • Realistic Fatigue copy.
  • Establish(or invoke) a follower framework that will merge our characters into a single mod, presuming any regulars exist.
  • Create characters that centralize our cosmetic mods(think blacksmiths from Souls games)
  • Inspire an actual effort to be put into follower mods, some of my ideas:
    • Gran taking care of an orphan, convince them both you need a sidekick
    • Lost battalion looking for an escort
    • Ever-hungry drifter
    • Swollen eyed addict
    • Rebellious and impressionable warrior you'd meet during a conflict
    • High-minded urban busybody
    • Talented marksman atop a perch
    • Bundled up character wandering amidst a blizzard
    • Disenfranchised femme fatale
    • Cowardly photographer looking for a scoop
    • Fashionable, timid, clumsy, and short girl who is looking for employment
    • Scientist's bored apprentice
    • A mysterious or lonely character perched at the highest point of a settlement
    • Mercenary maid establishment with butler guards
    • Grizzled and lost fisherman
    • Character in the center of a slave trade
    • Exploring truant
    • Character with two power armor bodyguards
    • The commander of an organized military corp, recruit after you win decisively
  • Recycle some of our mods:
    • Various character textures(missing tooth, blush, eyes, band-aids, tattoos)
    • Lamp follower 2.0
    • Lop ears
    • Simon Adolf
    • Juliet 3.0
    • 2D cut-out characters
    • Whimsical music and sound replacers
    • Pajamas and party/model training hat
  • See what eyeball-less characters look like when you re-texture the eye sockets
  • Document console commands
  • Make a flashlight, camera, and binoculars mod
  • Mercenary factions with unique looks, pretty easy to mod this on paper
  • If the mod kit is sufficient I'll make at least one good settlement
  • See about making a spaceship house that flies to you, Hai's idea was a UFO that zaps you inside
  • Fallout Accessories 2.0 but with a better name
    • Bags
    • Vials
    • Side-arms
    • Canteens
    • Backpacks
    • Scarves
    • Ponchos
    • Rings
    • Earrings
    • Socks
    • Pads
    • Glasses
    • Hats
    • Capes
    • Belts
    • Sashes
    • Headsets
    • Coats
    • Bands
    • Goggles
    • First-aid
    • Masks
    • Hoods
    • Visors
    • Lights
    • Bandanas
    • Shields
    • Food
    • Binoculars
    • Cigars

Typically I'd archive and talk about mods but for this upcoming Bethesda game I want to focus on content creation.. I've always wanted to make mods that add in unique characters but I felt the mod wouldn't really affect anyone, I'll do it for this game though because I've realized that I like making characters in video games almost as much as I like porting items. It makes sense to me to combine those hobbies and pick up new skills at the same time.

As for characters, if you want to make the hero of my dreams this is what you need to strive for. I know I sure will be.

Essentials:
  • Dirt on hands and/or face
  • Scar on face
  • Bandage on arm or leg
  • Band-aid on face or a joint
  • Cigarette in mouth
  • Sidearms holstered
  • Tattoo hidden so you can still get a job
  • Missing or broken tooth
  • Classy NSFW censored body texture
  • Socks
  • Nail polish
  • Bags
  • Consumables(canteen etc)
Supplements:
  • Glasses
  • Hiking boots
  • Earrings
  • Anime eye(star, heart, etc)
  • Bracelet
  • Scarf
  • Coat
  • Belt
  • Ring
  • Special laces for your boots
It has to all be custom or really unique or your waifu is just shit.

Credits for the ideas that aren't mine go mostly to Haishao, the ultimate character creator.
